Dog Walking & Check-in Policies
Bookings
Bookings for new customers is preferred at least one week prior to the service request date in order for us to arrange a time for a complimentary Meet & Greet. Our Meet & Greets are required and essential to bookings; they provide peace of mind, clarity, and ensure that we are all a good fit! Good Walk & Watch Co. reserves the right to turn down booking requests for any reason during or directly following the Meet & Greet.
Bookings for current, active clients are preferred by the Sunday before the request date.
Ongoing weekly, midday bookings are required to provide a service time window. Please note that there is a minimum of a 1 hour window and 2 - 3+ hour windows are preferred.
For longer check-ins (2+ hours) the rate will be equal to my overnight pet sitting rate.
Cancellations
For clients who have ongoing weekly bookings there is no cancellation fee.
For Less-Than-Regulars, clients with bookings around every 6 weeks or more often, there is a 25% cancellation fee when canceled within 24 hours of the booking.
For Not-So-Regulars, clients with bookings around every two months or more, there is a 50% cancellation fee when canceled within 24 hours of the booking.
Good Walk & Watch Co. reserves the right to end client relationships with clients who cancel services more than 50% of the time.
The Nitty-gritty Details
Preparation
Good Walk & Watch Co. is always prepared with water and basic first aid supplies for your pets. Please be sure to provide collars/harnesses/leashes, treats, food, toys, towels, poop bags and anything else required for your pet’s walk or check-in. Please also ensure these items are easily accessible.
How my time works
My time with your pet(s) starts as soon as I enter your door and ends as soon as I exit your door. If your pet(s) take(s) a long time to get a harness/leash on, please be aware that is a part of the time you have booked. If you would like your pet to have more time outdoors, please request to book a longer walk (only $5 per additional 15 minutes). If your pet is very difficult to get leashed, I can often stay past your requested booking time to ensure they get outside. However, please be aware that you will be charged for the full amount of time that Good Walk & Watch Co. spent with your pet.

Dog walking & pet check-in hours may be booked between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00pm.
